The Lakes

The stunning Lake District is easily viewed across the northern reaches of Morecambe Bay and is just a short twenty minute journey away by car. Whatever your interests in country pursuits, you'll find them answered here in this beautiful high country that was occupied by Romans and Vikings, worked by farmers, miners and quarrymen - and is now England's greatest and best loved national park.
